GRADUATION CEREMONY
Guru Gobind Singh Public School celebrated the 'GRADUATION CEREMONY' for the first class students.
The first class graduation ceremony was celebrated in Guru Gobind Singh Public School on 25 April 2024. The ceremony was organized very well by the school staff members, teachers and students together. The school was decorated very beautifully. The parents of the students were also invited to this ceremony and many family members attended the event. Welcome to the school principal was done by giving a bouquet of flowers. The commencement of the ceremony was done with Gurbani. After that the principal of the school, Mrs. Archana Srivastava lit the lamp. Certificates were distributed amongst the young students by the school principal. During this, parents of the students were also given an opportunity to come on stage and express their views. In this programme, students of different classes from 3rd to 8th presented various types of cultural programs like Bhangra, Punjabi cultural songs and dances on Bollywood songs. The program ended with the national anthem.
Thus the ceremony took place very smoothly in a joyous atmosphere.

Karate Championship of 2023
On 15 October, 2023 students of Guru Gobind Singh Public School
won the trophy of Karate Championship of 2023 by participating in third South Indian Open Karate Championship. This competition was organised
by Canva Sito Rio Association’s Team Academy. Students put all their efforts in this championship. In this
competition second prize had
won by Jagraj Singh of under 16 group of class 10th and Yashnoor Singh of under-14 group of
class 8th, Paramvir Singh of
class 8th won third prize of under-14 group. The Students of GGSPS brought laurels for
school with their wonderful
performance. The Principal of the school Ms. Archana Srivastava congratulated the winners
and encouraged those students by giving them trophy won by them.

Diwali Mela
On 10 November 2023 Guru Gobind Singh Public school organised a
Diwali Mela. Mela where students and teachers were full
of enthusiasm and excitement. The programme started at about 10am with morning prayers and
lighting of lamps. The school
premises was decorated with the lights, candles and artworks from eco-friendly products.
Various slogans were pasted on
the walls of the school about the cause of air pollution, light over darkness, good over
evil etc. All the students and
outsiders enjoyed a lot and there was a great happiness on everyone’s face Students learn
how to earn. Stalls of
eatables of all sorts were also a part of Mela and relished by one and all like shakes, tea
and coffee, lemonade,
sandwiches, golgapaas, kulchas Dahi Bhale, momos, pasta, pizzas, burgers etc. Stalls of
Indian handicrafts, handmade
lampshades, painting diyas and hangings were also set up to let people go on a little
shopping spree. There were various
games and activities (Break the Pyramid, tear the paper, Dart game, Coin in the Bucket, Rice
and Button, Roll the
Dice, Tambola, Tatto Making and Bouncy) which attracted the attention of students and their
parents. The Mela depicted the
vibrance of this festival. Ms. Archana Srivastava, the principal of the school appreciated
the efforts put by all the
students, teachers and supporting staff also to make this programme a great success.

Educational Development and Research Institution
In 'Kala Rang' competition held by Educational Development and
Research Institution (Pune) 60 students had
participated. Institution organised this competition and named 'Kala Rang' on National level
to enhance the talent of
students. Amarjit Kaur of 7th standard by getting first position with A+ grade brought
laurels for the school. The
Principal Ms. Archana Srivastava congratulated all the participants and encouraged them to
must participate in all the
competitions whether district level national or international level.

Rangoli and Poster Making Competition
On 18 November 2023 students of Guru Gobind Singh Public school
participated in S. Jit Singh Chawla Memorial Cultural
Fiesta Matrix 2023 and brought laurels for School in Rangoli and Poster Making competition.
Class 9th Rangoli team’s
Japneet Kaur, Arshreet Kaur and Dilpreet Kaur got third prize and 10th class Rangoli team’s
Mehakpreet Kaur Amanjot Kaur
and Simran Kaur also got third prize. In Poster Making Competition Anmolpreet Kaur of 11th
(medical) won third prize in
total twenty six schools. Ms. Archana Srivastava, Principal of the school gave certificates
to the students and
appreciated, encouraged and wished good luck for their future.

Celebrated Guru Nanak Dev Ji 554th Birth Anniversary With Devotion
And Reverence
On 25 November 2023 Guru Gobind Singh Public school Daad,
Ludhiana, celebrated Guru Nanak Dev Ji Birth Anniversary
with great devotion and reverence. The programme started with recital of 'Japji Sahib',
'Sukhmani Sahib' followed by
‘shabad kirtan’. Students paid tribute to Guru Nanak Dev ji life by spreading His divine
message of harmony, humility and
equality through poems, speeches and orations. A langar was organised in the school campus.
Ms. Archana Srivastava,
Principal of the school told students to follow the path and principles of Guru Nanak Dev
Ji.

Props and Wore Beautiful Dresses Related to their Topics
On 23 October, 2023 a Poem Recitation competition was held in
Guru Gobind Singh Public School in which tiny tots
participated enthusiastically with props and wore beautiful dresses related to their topics.
Vanshveer of Nursery class
got first prize, Gurleen Kaur got second and Kunwar Anmol Singh won third prize. In L.K.G
Simran Kaur,Apheerat Kaur and
Guljaar Singh got first, second and third position respectively. In U.K.G Ekjot Kaur, Jejas
Kapoor and Gurseerat Kaur won
first, second and third prize respectively. The Principal of School Ms.Archana Srivastava
encouraged and appreciated the
students by giving them prizes.

Workshop On Positive Psychology and Behavioural Disorders
A workshop was organized in Guru Gobind Singh Public School for
teachers and parents on 9 December 2023. The resource
person for the same was Dr. Priyanka Kalra, MD in Psychiatry, a practicing consultant
Psychiatrist and Child and
Adolescent Specialist and the Director of Global Child Wellness Centre. The topic discussed
was Positive Psychology and
Behavioural Disorders among students. She laid emphasis on the topic using various
techniques like doing activities,
sharing anecdotes, how to identify various disorders/disabilities of students etc. She also
gave master tips for
cultivating Positive Psychology. It was a great learning experience. On this occasion
Ms. Archana Srivastava, Principal of
the school, thanked the resource Person Ms. Priyanka Kalra for giving such a valuable
information.

Horse Riding Show
On 18 December, 2023 Horse Riding Show was organised in Guru
Gobind Singh Public School in which horses of various breeds
showed their talent and entertained the students and parents. Horse riders had shown stunts
like hurdle jumping, jimkhana
event, tent pegging, hunter and hack etc. Students and teachers of the school also took
horse riding 🏇. The Principal of
the School Ms. Archana Srivastava told the students about the benefits of horse riding which
increases our stamina. With
academics, extra curricular activities are also very important for the students life.

Basant Panchami celebrated at GGSPS
On 14 February, 2024 Guru Gobind Singh public school Daad celebrated the festival of Basant Panchami with great zeal, fervour and enthusiasm. Students of primary wing as well as teachers came dressed in yellow attire to mark the beginning of spring. The day was dedicated to The Goddess Saraswati by paying obeisance and lotus at her feet . The tiny tots relished the yellow eatables brought in their tiffin boxes. The tiny tots also took part in the traditional ritual of writing alphabet on the sand. They also exhibited their craft skills by making yellow sunflowers. Principal Mrs Archana Srivastava also addressed the students and conveyed best wishes to the students on the occasion.
